Are there multiple points of entry into Mexico from the U.S. for horse slaughter? Or do all horses bound for slaughter in Mexico get routed through Las Cruces?
I don't know for sure, I think there is a large slaughter house across the border from Las Cruces, but doubt that it is the only one. If there is one across the border from Arizona I haven't heard about it. But then again it isn't something that is talked about in "polite" circles either. There are people in our area that make a living picking up free & cheap horses from auctions & Craigslist. I watch Craigslist & warn people with ads that are going to have these cretins beating a path to their door to give their equine a "wonderful" forever home.
