This is how Gus' feet looked this morning when he came in from a night of roaming around........!!! YIPPEE!  Looks like the vet wrap to keep the straps from coming loose is going to work.

Daisy & I have a "date" this morning to see if I can get some of that hair off her.  John won't be here, so if my hands give out, I'll have to quit & try later.  John has never clipped an animal, so I'm not sure I want to turn him loose with a big set of Oster clippers anyway..........!!!!  (G)  My experience is pretty limited, & from over 50 years ago, so if he did have to do the clipping, all I can say is.................poor Daisy girl........!!! (VBG)  She is real good to stand still so that's a big help.

That looks much better. We've been using vet wrap to keep Dusty's boots on too. Duct tape works as well.

I'm really glad this is working, because as dusty as it is out here, duct tape plus dirt would end up a sticky mess I'm afraid. Vet wrap as a fix should be shouted from the roof tops....!!! (G)

My daughter actually called the manufacturer of these boots and suggested buckles to help keep them on. As predicted she got the run around and we'll look into it, we'll send it to the designer etc... So I guess it's vet wrap for now.

You'd think they'd be more attuned to suggestions to make their product better. Another suggestion was to have a button & loop, but over time that would probably get loose.

Checked out your blog, what a gorgeous place you have. Can't imagine waking up to such beauty every morning. We get excited when the prickly pear get fat after a rain.....!! (G)
