About Me

Tish: My husband John, and I have ran a small non-profit sanctuary for donkeys that needed a better home for over 20 years. Most of the donkeys we have taken in for one reason or another would not be adoptable under normal circumstances. Some of our donkeys have physical or emotional problems. Some are old, many have ongoing medical problems that need daily attention. Over the years we have adopted out dozens of donkeys that were healthy enough to go into a home of their own. Every day with the donkeys is a learning process for me, & I would like to share these wonderful creatures with anyone that is interested. UPDATE: As of February 2020 we have become a non-profit with all the paperwork that entails. That is one of the reasons I never made the effort before. But Suzanne, one of our amazing helpers is a paperwork type of gal, and it's been a painless operation for me.........LOL So I guess we can now officially say, we are legit.....!!
